Nanaimo Votes 2026 Is Now Live
The 2026 civic election may still seem a long way off, but the decisions being made at City Hall today will shape the choices voters face at the ballot box.
That is why we have launched Nanaimo Votes 2026 — a dedicated voter-information site focused on Nanaimo’s next municipal election.
The goal is simple: help Nanaimo taxpayers and voters get informed early.
The site will track candidates, election issues, voting information, taxes and spending, council records, public promises, campaign themes, and the money behind the politics.
Nanaimo does not need another sleepy election where most people tune in during the final week. The stakes are too high. Taxes, debt, growth, public safety, housing, infrastructure, and the future direction of the city all deserve serious public attention before the campaign signs go up.
Nanaimo Votes 2026 is intended to become a plain-language resource for residents who want to know what is happening, who is running, what they stand for, and how past decisions connect to future promises.

Get informed. Ask questions. Compare records. And when the time comes — vote.
Your City. Your Taxes. Your Say.
