DRONES REPLACE FIREWORKS
AFTER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS 'LIGHT UP'
This year after the little town of Ladysmith throws the switch on over 300,000 lights in their annual Festival of Lights and parade event, visitors will be treated to a 300 drone light show.
The drones will replace the fireworks show from years past and is being billed as an Island first.
Kudos to the little town of Ladysmith for this impressive annual event expected to draw 25,000 to the start of a 6 week event. They throw the switch on Nov. 27 at about 6:15 with the jolly old fellow doing the honors!
As for the bustling commercial community of Nanaimo, maybe we will be able to manage another Charlie Brown tree this year.
