City of Nanaimo and IAFF Local 905 reach two-year collective agreement

Summary

The City of Nanaimo and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 905 ratified a two-year rollover collective agreement covering 2025 and 2026.

The agreement includes wage increases of 5.0 per cent in 2025 and 4.5 per cent in 2026, consistent with the provincial pattern. It follows the expiry of the previous agreement in 2024 and provides continuity for both parties.
